The new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog has ten new Product Suites that make it so easy to create beautiful projects. The color coordination is one of the hallmarks of the Stampin’ Up! product line. From inks to paper to embellishments, it’s so easy to successfully create stunning one of a kind cards and gifts. One of my new favorites is the Peony Garden Suite (#154129; $97.50). The Suite features the Prized Peony Stamp Set, Peony dies, Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, Square Vellum Doilies, Elegant Faceted Gems, Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon, and Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.

Peony Garden Suite

This elegant suite of products is geared to the avid crafter but beginning stampers can also create lovely simple stamping cards with this beautiful stamp set. Using just stamps, ink and paper you can create a simple yet elegant card as shown below

#simplestamping

This card was created with just two stamps and a few layers of paper. The card base is an 8 1/5″ x 5 1/5″ piece of Gray Granite card stock scored at 4 1/4″. The first layer is a piece of 4 x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic Gray card stock. The final layer is a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper. The images are stamped in Basic Gray ink. More avid crafters can step it up with die cuts and embellishments as shown below.

Peony Garden Product Suite

This card has a 8 1/5″ x 5 1/5″ Petal Pink card base (scored at 4 1/4″). The Basic Gray layer (4″ x 5 1/4″) has been embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing folder. A 2′ x 4″ piece of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper adds a pop of color as does a touch of the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon. The sentiment was die cut using the Stitched so Sweetly dies and stamped in Old Olive ink. The peony flower was die cut in Petal Pink and colored with a sponge dauber and Blushing Bride ink. The center was die cut from Bumblebee card stock and the leaves area combination of Old Olive and Garden Green. You can check out my video tutorial here.
