Q: How much does it cost to get started as a demonstrator?
The fully customizable Starter Kit is only $99 (+ tax). YOU get to select $125 worth of any current Stampin’ Up! products (including clearance rack) and pay just the $99. AND you get FREE shipping on the Starter Kit and a FREE Paper Pumpkin kit (a $23.50 value). You will also receive a business supply pack containing catalogs and other materials needed to run your demonstrator-ship as a business if you desire.
Q: Do I have to have a blog or social media?
No, you don’t have to do any type of social media if you don’t want to. It’s entirely up to you if you decide to share your love of card making through a blog or social media.
Q: Do I have to hold classes or other events to be a demonstrator?
NO, you don’t have to hold classes or “demonstrate” anything. Demonstrator is just the term Stampin’ Up! uses to identify people who have signed up as independent representatives. Other direct sales companies use terms like consultant, ambassador, stylist, and coach to name a few.
Q: What if I want to do this as a hobby and not a business?
Stampin’ Up! and the Crafty Foxes support all demonstrators, no matter their goals or the level at which they choose to run their business. If you choose to not hold events/workshops, you can simply be a happy shopper by placing your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to meet the quarterly sales requirement.
Q: Can I be my own host?
Absolutely! You can be your own host anytime you want. Invite your family and friends into your home and have a workshop. You’ll be the host, receiving the Stampin’ Up! rewards, as well as the demonstrator, receiving your instant income and commission.
Q: Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
Not unless you want to! But it’s so fun and rewarding to bring your friends along on your journey! If you have stamping friends, share the fun and benefits so that they can partake in them as well. If you are joining to build a business, team building is one of the best parts and can be very rewarding as you share your passion with others.
Q: What if I join and decide it’s not for me. Will I be penalized if I quit?
No – if you join and decide this is not for you, you can stop any anytime and you will not be penalized. Just simply stop placing orders and go back to being a customer (of course the Crafty Foxes will be sad to see you leave). You can always join again at any time.
