APRIL 2024 HOST CODE 4RCYSRWG

You’ll love the easy yet impressive IMPOSSIBLE CARD!

I’ve always been crafty. As a youngster I loved to color; as a I grew older I tried my hand at different crafts – knitting, sewing, crocheting, photography, cake decorating, painting. You name it and I’ve probably at least tried it once! Some I’ve liked more than others and some were just not my strong suit – knitting – not for me – can’t coordinate two needles at once; quilting – meh too much detail work. But creativity fills my soul and I love to try new things.

About 20 years ago I got introduced to Stampin’ Up! I loved the pretty stamps, ink, and paper and I was hooked. I loved this new hobby – it fed my creative side in a fun, new way. Now, life has a way of getting in the way and as a mom of two young children with a full time job outside the home, the opportunity to spend precious time and money on my “hobby” was limited. I never gave it up exactly but I did put it on the back burner for a few decades.

So fast forward to today and I’m an (almost) empty nester with time and money to finally spend on me! So when the opportunity to join Stampin’ Up! was presented and jumped in and signed up. I absolutely LOVE creating with my stamps, ink, and paper. It feeds my creative soul and it give me such joy to turn a simple piece of paper into a work of art. Best of all, I get to share my passion with all of you! So today I want to share my take on the “Impossible Card”. I’m not really sure why it’s called that but my guess is the way you cut and fold the card seems impossible to do!

Impossible Card

The card is actually quite easy to make – just a few score lines and some snips with your scissor, a flip of the paper and Viola – the Impossible Card.
