Can I offer you a yummy cookie?

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending the first ever Stampin’ Up! Leaders Summit. Despite the fact the original plan to gather in New Orleans had to be scrapped due to COVID 19 (and so grateful to NOT be in New Orleans during a hurricane), the virtual event proved to be educational, insightful, and just downright FUN (the sub titles were hysterical!). One of my favorite parts of the event was networking with other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators (or as I like to think of us Brand Ambassadors). I met so many intelligent, passionate, and joyful women from around the globe and feel rejuvenated by their enthusiasm.

One woman in particular provided a new way of looking at our direct sales business, which people so often mock or dismiss without even understanding anything about it. She asked us if we would like a cookie. As she looked upon our puzzled faces, she went on to explain – if you walk into a room with a plate of cookies, wouldn’t you offer a cookie to everyone in the room? Of course we all said yes. She then went further to hypothesize – if you walked into the room with a plate of cookies and DIDN’T offer everyone a cookie they would wonder why you didn’t offer them a cookie.

As she went on to explain her analogy, it all made perfect sense; as a member of a direct sales company we have “cookies” to offer. We can offer everyone the chance to host a party or join our teams. Some people may not want a “cookie” and simply say “no thank you”; other may say “I don’t want a cookie right now” while still others may say “YES – Thank you so much – I would love a cookie”. The point is – you never know who will be interested so give the information to everyone so they can decide if they want a “cookie”.

In the spirit of that I am offering you a “cookie”, a chance to join our Crafty Foxes Stampin’ Up! family. Our team is full of dynamic brand ambassadors with a passion for creating and sharing their joy with others while using quality products (and did you know all of Stampin’ Up!’s stamps, ink, and paper are made right here in the good old U.S.A?!!). There’s never been a better time to join our growing team with the new GET AND GO promotion from Stampin’ Up!.

You’ll want to see what’s in the new Mini!

The Stampin’ Up! August – December Mini Catalog went LIVE on Tuesday August 4th. There are so many cute stamp sets and embellishments you can get to create your one of a kind holiday cards. The catalog is so jam packed with new products that I took a few minutes to do a Facebook Live to highlight some of my favorites. Some of these I didn’t even notice my first time through the catalog. It took a few passes for me to focus on some of these hidden gems.

Did you see something you like? I hope so! I know there’s some great new items in there that I plan on getting (if I haven’t already). Just contact your demonstrator to place an order. If you are in the United States and don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’d love to fill that role. You can shop my online store 24/7 just by clicking on this link. Questions? Send an email to me at craftyklock@gmail.com. Happy Stampn!

The Beautiful New Snowflake Splendor Suite is the Best!

If the summer’s heat is getting to you right about now, you’ll love the fun you can have with Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful new Snowflake Splendor Suite. Just playing with the different snowflake stamps and dies will have you dreaming of a white Christmas in a matter of minutes. The suite will be available beginning on August 4th (Item #155115 $94.75) and includes the Snowflake Wishes Bundle (stamps and matching dies), Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper, Winter Snow Embossing Folder, Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper, Blue Adhesive-backed gems, and Snowflake Splendor Ribbon.

I love this suite of products because it has something to offer for all experience levels. A beginning stamper can have success creating beautiful cards with just stamps, ink, and paper especially when you let the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper be the star of the show.

#simplestamping

This card was created with just stamps, ink, and paper and went together so easily with these supplies – Pool Party card base 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored at 4.25″; Pacific Point layer 5.25″ x 4″; Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper 5″ x 3.75″; Pacific Point Classic Stampin’ Pad for stamping the sentiment and snowflakes. The gorgeous designer series paper does most of the work for this card. If you’re more advanced and like to try new techniques or add some bling to your card, this suite of products has got you covered!

Heat Embossing and Glimmer Paper add sparkle and shine to this card

This card using heat embossing and the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper to add sparkle and shine to the snowflakes. Using your Stamparatus to position the snowflakes on your card stock allows you to stamp then emboss them all at once. I used the following supplies to make this card: Balmy Blue card base 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored at 4.25″, Night of Navy layer 5.25″ x 4″, stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder, Balmy Blue Glimmer paper 1.5″ x 4″ and punched with the Triple Banner punch; Whisper White 1″ x 3.75″ and punched with the new Banners Pick a Punch; Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Pad; Die Snowflakes using Balmy Blue Glimmer paper.

You can check out my YouTube Video tutorial here. You can purchase the supplies used for these cards on my website beginning August 4th.
