Community – what is it? The dictionary definition of community is shown as (1) a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common or (2) a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
Throughout life we are members of many different communities. Some communities are our forever communities (families, school affiliations) and some are short term or seasonal in nature (PTA, sports team, civic groups). But no matter what type of community – long or short term – the fact is we need communities. We all need to be surrounded by people who will celebrate the happy times and support us in the difficult times.
That support system – celebrating the good things and offering comfort during the hard times – is what I love about my Stampin’ Up community. The group that I craft with are always so encouraging to each other and help ease the burden during difficult times. Whenever we get together it’s always interesting! A little crafting, a little whining, and lots of laughter!
Today I invite you to join my community of stampers. I have several classes and events coming up in the next month and I would love to have you join me!
