Sometimes it’s just all about the FUN factor!

I love it when I can escape to my home studio to spend some time doing what I love – crafting! I find it relaxing to take paper, stamps, and ink and transform them into beautiful cards and gifts I can share with others. I also love all the gadgets and tools that make crafting easy. Actually it’s not a secret at all but I do believe it is the absolute best deal in the whole catalog.  The Stampin’ Up! starter kit is a great value at just $99 (plus tax) for $125 in Stampin’ Up! products.  What is even better is that you get to customize your starter kit to get exactly what you want and need.  You will never get stuck with a stamp set or paper that you do not want or like since you get to choose what is included.

But the benefits do not stop there.  As a Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrator you will always get at least a 20% discount on all your supplies (no coupon needed thank you very much) with the opportunity to increase that to a 25% discount as long as you stay active as a demonstrator.  Who does not like a good discount?  I know I sure do.  And let’s face it, if you are into crafts you are going to spend money on supplies. Why join?

Hello Friends – it’s been a while since I have posted but I wanted to take this opportunity to explain a bit more about purchasing the Starter Kit and signing up to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.

  • Do you get a feeling of dread when the option to purchase the starter kit is offered to you?
  • Do you avoid making eye contact when joining Stampin’ Up! is mentioned? 
  • Are thinking “Ugh – I don’t want to listen to this now!”

Well I get it! I was the same way until I took the time to really understand what it is all about.

Purchasing the starter kit is about getting the best deal out there with absolutely no further obligations.  Yes you read that correctly – purchase of the starter kit does not come with any strings attached!

So why purchase it?  At the bare minimum, it is $125 in product for $99 (plus tax), a 20% discount over catalog prices, with a continuing 20% discount through your first full quarter.  So, if you plan to purchase at least $75 or more in product or want all the freebies that come with the starter kit during Sale-a-Bration, it is so worth it.

After the initial purchase of the starter kit, you have a few options:

  1. Enjoy the products you purchased at a discount and call it good
  2. Use your ongoing 20% discount through the end of June – no strings
  3. Stay on as a hobby demonstrator. These demonstrators (which I was for a long time) purchase their products using their discounts, maybe hold a class once in a while to assist with meeting their quarterly minimum of $300 or maybe have a friend or family member who orders from them so they can craft together 
  4. Earn extra money by creating your very own small business.  This is great for stay-at-home moms, retirees, or anyone who is looking for a little something income

Oh my goodness – I am so excited! The weekend for On the Craft Train 2 is finally here! I have been preparing for this show for months and now I’m ready (almost) to go. With over 100 vendors it’s sure to be a lot of fun. I hope you can stop by this weekend and visit my booth.

The fun begins on Saturday at 9 am until 4 pm and repeats on Sunday. See you at the Martinsburg Roundhouse, 100 East Liberty St, Martinsburg, WV. If you tell me you saw my blog post I will give you a free card!
