Who loves quick and easy cards to make? I do! I love it when I can use both sides of our gorgeous Designer Series Paper and I love it when it can be the star of the show! This design lets it do both! We get to show off both the front and the back of the Designer Series Paper AND it is the starring element of this quick and easy design!
Create in minutes!
This week for my Lesson@Lunch video, I created this birhtday card in under 10 minutes – literally. It’s easy to do when you let the Designer Series Paper and cardstock really carry the design with minimul stamping. The use of the circle dies is what takes this card from a #simplestamping card to the next level, but it would also be so eary for a beginner by just changing out the circles for rectangles or even squares that could be cut on a paper trimmer.
Same design, same stamp set but with a different focal point. By just changing one element, circles for squares, you now have a design that is ready for a beginning stamper. That’s how easy it is to switch between #simplestamping and something more advanced!

Measurements & Supplies
Here are the measurements for this card:
- Color 1 Cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Color 2 cardstock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Designer Series Paper 3 3/4″ x 5″
- White cardstock (for inside) 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Scrapes of all three cardstocks for die cut circles (size will vary depending on what dies your use)
- For the rectangular shape, cur your rectangles at 1 3/4″ x 2″ (white), 2″ x 2 1/4″ (color 2 cardstock), and 2 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ (color 1 cardstock)
