On-line Exclusive Playful Ghosts
While I’m not generally big into Halloween, these darling ghosts caught my eye as soon as they were released! They “haunted” me to purchase them to create fully ghoulish treats for Halloween. How could I say no?
This week during my weekly YouTube video tutorial, I had a chance to feature these playful ghosts. I had so much fun creating these cards and they really are not scary at all – even the faint of heart will love these adorable ghouls!
Let’s take a look at the two cards I create during my live and let me know what you think.
For the fun fold card I wanted to use purple and orange but I didn’t want more traditional colors. I decided to go with Petunia Pop and Peach Pie and I’m very happy with the results. For the second card I did pick more traditional Halloween type colors. I think these colors really do pop on the Basic Black card base. What do you think?

Here are the measurement for each card followed by a link for all the supplies used to make these cards. I hope this helps you get your creativity on!
Fun Fold Card
- Petunia Pop cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ (21 cm x 14.8 cm scored at 5.3 cm and 10.5 cm)
- Petunia Pop cardstock 3″ x 2 1/2″ (8 cm x 6.5 cm)
- Basic White cardstock 5 1/4″ x 4″ ( 14.3 cm x 10 cm)
- Basic White cardstock 2 1/2″ x 2″ (6.5 cm x 5 cm) plus a scrap for circle punch or die cut
- Peach Pie cardstock 2 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ (7 cm x 5.5 cm) plus a scrap for circle punch or die cut
- 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper 2 pieces at 5 1/4″ x 1 7/8″ (14.3 cm x 4.7 cm) and 1 piece at 5 1/4″ x 1/2″ (14.3 cm x 1.5 cm)
Basic Black Cardbase
- Basic Black cardstock 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″ (29.7 cm x 10.5 cm scored at 14.8 cm)
- Basic White cardstock 5 1/4″ x 4″ (14.3 cm x 10 cm) plus a scrap for the die cut
- Pumpkin Pie cardstock 3″ x 2 1/2″ (8 cm x 6.5 cm)
- Lemon Lime Twist cardstock 3″ x 2 1/2″ (8 cm x 6.5 cm)
- Highland Heather cardstock 3″ x 2 1/2″ (8 cm x 6.5 cm)
