Lets talk about Adhesvie Sheets
I firmly believe that having the right tools can make any job easier. Whether you are cooking, baking, building, painting, or anything really, having the right tools at the right time is essential for getting the job done correctly and efficiently! I mean, you wouldn’t try to bake a cake without flour, eggs, and butter right? My husband would never paint the walls with out drop cloths, painters tape, and paint brushes (I mean you wouldn’t want to spill dark purple paint on beige carpet would you – oh wait he did that!).
Well it’s no different in the craft room. The right tools can really help our projects turn out perfectly! That’s why I absolutely love having Adhesive Sheets in my craft stash! Adhesive sheets are a must have when working with intricate dies or small pieces. Unlike liquid glue, which is difficult to work with and very messy, adhesive sheets are easy to use and best of all – MESS FREE!
So what are adhesive sheets?
Well as the name implies these are 12″ x 6″ sheets of double sided adhesive that can be cut to any size. To use them, remove the protective backing from one side, adhere it to you cardstock, and die cut as usual. Note – it may take two or three passes to ensure the dies cut through both the cardstock and adhesive backing. Once you are happy with the die cut, remove the protective backing from the adhesive on the die cut and add to your project as desired. That’s it – no fuss and no mess! Oh and don’t worry about removing every little cut out piece – they will come off as you peel off the protective backing!
