Abundant Sunflower Beauty

Almost hidden in the September to December Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! is the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks. Since they are not part of any product Suite or Bundle it’s easy to overlook them as you browse through the catalog. But as you are flipping through, stop for a minute on Page 47 to look at what is in this set.

The Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks set has seven stencils – an autumn leaf/acorn mask, a snowflake mask, a houndstooth pattern mask, and four layering maskes to create a trio of sunflowers. The sunflower masks are numbered and have notches for easy alignment. They were on backorder for a few weeks but I was finally able to order a set and I am love with them!

Easy and fun to use

As soon as my set arrived, I could not wait to try them out. My first time using them was to create the sunflowers. Having the numbers and notches on each part of the mask really did make it easy to quickly figure out how to put it all togehter. The masks also make it easy to blend colors adding interest to the image. Here’s the card I created using the sunflower masks. Can you see the shading in the sunflower petals?
