I love to spoil my customers
There is nothing better than getting an unexpected surprise! That’s why I love to send a little something extra when I mail out the packages for my monthly workshops. I want my customers to know I appreciate them and value their trust. It’s fun for me too – I love to figure out unique ways to share a little trreat.
Quick and Easy
This month, I picked up some Werthers carmel filled hard candies (one of my favorites – you can purchase them here). I didn’t just want to throw them in the workshop package – where’s the creativitiy in that? So i decided to design a box to put them in. The only problem was, I needed something quick and easy since I had to make alot and needed them done soon! I thought some type of box would be quick so I began making some samples.

Trial and Error
Whenever you are designing something you never get it on the first try! Even though I measured the candy to figure out how long, wide, and deep my box needed to be, I somehow managed to get it wrong a few times! At last I had the box measurements corrct and knew how to assemble it. Now to make the top. I decided to do a slide top box and used the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper to make the top. They really went together so easily as you can see in my YouTube video
Supplies & Measurements
All you need is a piece of cardstock cut to 4 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ (I used Thick Basic White) and a piece of Designer Series Paper cut to 4 1/2″ x 3″. The scoring measurments are given in the video. You can order the products I used to make these boxes from my Stampin’ Up! store. Just click on the Add all to cart button below.
Product ListI hope you’ll give this little box a try. I promise you it’s easy to make! Be sure to let me know if you make it by adding #craftyklock to your post so I can find it! Happy Stamping.
Making boxes is something I am not good at, unless using a die set specifically for the task. I am impressed with anyone who is able to do these easily and reliably.
Hi. Thanks for watching my video. I had trouble at first too but the more I tried the easier it became. I hope you will continue to try. You might be surprised at how much you improve! Happy Stamping
Hi. Thanks for your lovely reply. Yes, stamping I can do.
