Labeled with Love – a beautiful addition to your stamps

Labeled with Love = Endless Possibilities

What I love most about a new Stampin’ Up! catalog is the endless possibilities inside. There’s nothing quite like opening it for the very first time and perusing the pages to see what catches your eye. From the moment I saw the Labeled with Love bundle while at OnStage, I just knew it would be one of the first new items I would purchase.

I was hopeful this bundle would be on the pre-order list but alas, it was not and I had to wait until May 1st to order this beauty. But true to my belief it was one of the first items I ordered on May 1st. What’s unique about this bundle is you can order it with either dies or a punch. I chose to order the dies but I may still order the punch. I do love a good punch!

I love the mixture of images and sentiments in this bundle – especially since the images are perfect for two-step stamping. The mixture of images is perfect too! From flowers to presents to butterflies, the possibilities for creating with this set is endless. The sentiments are also perfect for multiple occasions.

Video Tutorial & More

As mentioned in the video, I made my sample cards for a 30 day card challenge I am participating in. Yesterday, May 9th, was a color challenge. We had to use Petunia Pop, Azure Afternoon, Lemon Lime Twist, and Daffodil Delight. These are not colors I would normally put together but I do like the way they turned out. Whaqt do you think?

If you missed the live tutorial last night, you can always watch the replay on my Crafty Klock YouTube channel. Just click on the “Watch on YouTube” in the lower left to check it out. The butterfly card is what we refer to as a “S.I.P.” card. It’s just Stamps, Ink, Paper (S.I.P.) so it truly is a simple stamping card. The flowers card is for a more avid crafter as it use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine to make die cuts in and then emboss the top layer of cardstock.

Here are the measurements for each card :

Butterfly Card

  • Thick Basic White cardstock (card base) 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ (21 cm x 14.8 cm scored at 10.5 cm)
  • Petunia Pop, Daffodil Delight & Lemon Lime Twist cardstock 1 of each color cut to 4″ x 1 3/4″ (10 cm x 4.8 cm)
