Fields in Bloom Kicks off the New Annual Catalog

Kicking off with Fields in Bloom

The 2024-2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog went live on May 1st! It’s always exciting to see the new catalog and look at all the pretty stamp sets, papers, and embellishments that are now available. While demonstrators got a copy of the catalog well before it’s release to the general public there were only select items available during the pre-order period and of course most of what I wanted was NOT on the pre-order list.

One of those items was Fields in Bloom. Everytime I get a new catalog, there is always that one stamp set that just seems to call out to me. Now I’m not going so far as to say it was love at first sight, but there was just something about this set that kept me coming back to look at it. So when May 1st finally arrived, I was sure I was going to get this stamp set.

As soon as I got my order I couldn’t wait to start creating with Fields in Bloom. Since my YouTube live tutorial was scheduled for that night I decided to jump right in and use this set for my tutorial. Here’s the very first card I created with this set.

Video Tutorial

If you haven’t seen the video tutorial for this card you can watch the replay on my Crafty Klock YouTube channel. In additional to the card, I also demonstrated how to make a quick and easy treat box using one sheet of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series papaer. I received this box during a swap and OnStage and knew it would be perfect to add to my outgoing work shop packets. So I took the box apart and figured out how to make them! They really are very quick and easy to make! Take a look and let me know what you think. Just click on the Watch on YouTube in the lower left to go right to the video!

Measurements, Supplies, and More

The card I made during this tutorial is a stadard A2 size with an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ card base that was scored at 4 1/4″. The inside and outside layers were 4″ x 5 1/4″, with scapes for the sentiment label. The little box was made using a 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Sereis Paper.
