Let’s Get Ready for Valentine’s Day!
When you’re a crafter you are always working a season or two ahead to prepare for the upcoming holiday. That’s why Chrismas was barely over before my thoughts turned to Valentine’s Day with visions of hearts, flowers, and candy in my head.
Well ok – maybe not visions of hearts, flowers, and candy but certainly visions of how to incorporate the beautiful Sale-a-bration Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper into my Valentine’s Day cards and gifts. This Designer Series Paper is one the products you can get for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration.
What is Sale-a-bration you ask? Why it’s only Stampin’ Up’s biggest promtion of the year! A time when you can shop and earn FREE products. Click here to learn more.
2 Easy Cards
Every Thursday I post a card making tutorial on my Crafty Klock YouTube Channel. I really loving sharing my passion for cardmaking with others so even though I am usually a hot mess on these videos I love to make them. Hopefully you enjoy them to and leave with some new ideas for your own cardmaking projects. But I digress – last week I wanted to showcase the Most Adored Speciality Designer Series Paper.
I love it when Designer Series Paper (also known a patterned or printed paper) is pretty enough to really carry the whole design without a lot of embellishments and “extra” stuff added. I guess that’s because my style leans towards clean and simple. I love pretty cards that I can make quickly. I don’t have the time (or patience) to spend hours on a single card. And let’s face it – most people who receive our cards really won’t know if it took us a few minutes or a few hours to make it. Am I right?
That’s why I was so excited to use the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper to make some Valentine’s Day cards. The paper coordinates with our Flirty Flamingo and Real Red cardstock and has beautiful gold foil accents. Take a look.

Video Tutorial, Measurements, & Supplies
As with almost all of my video tutorials, I like to make two cards. A simple stamping card and one a little more stepped up. This tutorial was no exception. The simple stamping card, on the right really let’s the Specialty Designer Series Paper shine, while the stepped up card on the left is a fun fold that allows more of the beautiful paper to be seen.

You can watch the replay of the tutorial on my Crafty Klock YouTube channel. Just click on the “Watch on YouTube” button in the lower left to see the video.
