From one 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP
Like you, I’m busy – whether it’s work, family, errands, chores, we all have a lot to do! That’s why I love quick and easy projects that are still pretty and fun. As soon as I saw this one sheet wonder I just knew I had to try it out!
In fact, I was so excited to try it out that I built my June workshop around this concept. It was challenging to design cards that were some what similiar yet incorporated the different sized pieces of Designer Series Paper. Based on the positve feedback and happy customers, I think I succeeded
It’s a wonder
Sometimes I really wonder (and maybe worry) how my brain works. I knew I wanted to use the a one sheet wonder for my June workshop but I really didn’t want to design six different cards. The challange, for me, was to incorporate the different sized pieces of Designer Series Paper into three cohesive designs. At the end of the day, I think I did a pretty good job. Each set of two is similiar yet different enough to allow me to use all the pieces cut from the one 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper. Check them out.
In case you want to try this yourself, here’s a picture of what I call the cut mat for the 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper
