Quick & Easy Gift Boxes
As I mentioned last week, select Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers (DSPs) are on sale during June. Since I love our beautiful DSPs (and have a bit of a paper hoarding problem), I decided to focus on all things DSP this month.
For today’s project, I wanted to demonstration how quick and easy it is to make a little gift box from a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP. For this project, I used a piece of the Bright & Beautiful DSP since it’s so colorful and fun! Check out all the colors in this DSP.

Pretty Paper = Pretty Projects
The Bright and Beautiful DSP is perfect for making these little gift boxes. Once you have the box made and filled, just tie a ribbon around it and you are ready to gift!

Watch the tutorial to see how I made this box and see below for scoring measurements.
Measurements & Supplies
For this project you will need a 6″ x 5″ piece of DSP. Score the 5″ side at 1″ and 4″. Score the 6″ side at 1″, 2 3/4″, 3 3/4″, and 5 1/2″.
If you want to use a full 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP, score one 6″ side at 1″ and 5″. Rotate the DSP 90 degrees to the left and score the other 6″ side at 1″, 2 3/4″, 3 3/4″ and 5 1/2″.
No matter which size you choose, the rest of the project is the same. Just follow along on the video and you’ll be making these boxes in no time!
