Farewell Cup of Tea

Today I took one last look at the lovely Cup of Tea stamp set and dies. I loved everything about this set – from the beautiful Designer Series Paper to the lovely Tea Boutique cards and envelopes. This product suite really had it all.

Product Coordination

One of the features I love best about Stampin’ Up! is the color coordination between the different products. The beautiful Tea Boutiqu Designer Series Paper included all the gorgeous 2022-2024 In Colors – Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky. These colors were also used for the coordinating Tea Boutique cards and envelopes. This color coordination makes it so easy to create beautiful projects for both beginning and experienced crafters.

This week for my live demo, I created two cards, a simple stamping card as well as a stepped up card. For the simple card I used one of the matching notecards and envelopes and just added some coordinating Designer Series Paper and a focal image.

For the stepped up card, I added several layers and die cuts to make this card pop. Here are the finished products. What do you think?

Measurements and Supplies

For the simple stamping card I used one of the Tea Boutique cards and envelopes (Starry Sky color). The Designer Series Paper was cut to 2″ x 5 1/2″ and the Basic White Square was 3″ x 3″.

For the stepped up card I used a base of Petal Pink cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. The Designer Series Paper was cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″. For the focal point I used the second largest die from the Scalloped Contours die set and cut 4 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Basic White. For the tea cup I used a scrap of Sweet Sorbet and for the cup overlay I used a piece of Petal Pink backed with an adhesive sheet. I love using adhesive sheets with intricute die cuts – makes it so much easier to adhere them to the project and I don’t have to mess with liquid glue (and create a mess!).
