I’m back from the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Alaska, and what an incredible experience it was! Stampin’ Up! truly spoiled us, and I feel so blessed to have earned my very first incentive trip. Less than 1% of demonstrators worldwide earn this annual reward trip, so it was definitely a special milestone.

Now that I’m home, it’s time to get back into the craft room—and today I’m sharing one of my favorite fun folds: the Double Box Fun Fold Card.

This card looks impressive, creates wonderful dimension, and best of all, it folds flat to fit in a standard A2 envelope for mailing. If you’ve ever wanted a card that has that “wow” factor without complicated measurements or tricky techniques, this one is for you.

Four Ways to Use This Fun Fold

One of my favorite things about this design is how easy it is to customize. Once you understand the basic structure, you can completely change the look by swapping out papers, stamps, colors, and embellishments.

Highland Cow Birthday Card

This is the card featured in today’s tutorial and uses the adorable Wild Bunch Stamp Set, which is the June 2026 Product of the Month. The sweet Highland cow gets dressed up with a handmade party hat and a few butterfly embellishments for a fun birthday card that’s sure to bring a smile.

Snail Thank You Card

For this version, I used the snail image from the Wild Bunch Stamp Set and fussy cut both the image and sentiment. The simple layout allows the patterned paper to take center stage while still creating plenty of visual interest.

Floral Vellum Card

This elegant version uses printed vellum as the focal layer. The flowers were lightly embossed from the back using a stylus and Stampin’ Pierce mat to create additional dimension and texture. Because the card base is Basic White cardstock, the back writing panel isn’t needed, giving this version a slightly different look and feel.

Sunset Coast Card

This variation skips the upper Designer Series Paper layer entirely. Instead, color was added directly to the card base using a decorative mask, blending brushes, and ink. The sunset scene becomes the star of the show, proving that this template works beautifully with scenic papers and specialty products too.
