3 Easy tricks to try
Tired of flat, boring card backgrounds? With just a little ink and three simple embossing tricks, you’ll turn ordinary cards into jaw-dropping keepsakes!
During the month of February, I’m sharing some of my favorite tips, tricks, and hacks to help you turn embossing from ho hum ordinary to WOW – extraordinary. It’s easy to work this magic once you know the “secrets”!

Try these techniques for yourself!
These tricks are quick and easy to master! When you are ready to try these for yourself, here are the measurements for the cards and a list of supplies used.
- 3 card bases 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ (21 cm x 14.8 cm scored at 10.5 cm)
- 6 pieces of Basic White cardstock 5 1/4″ x 4″ (14.3 cm x 10 cm) – 3 for the insides and 3 for the fronts
- Cardstock scraps for sentiment labels and focal points
