ICE CREAM SWIRL
To me, nothing screams summer more then a delicious ice cream cone. It’s always the perfect treat! No matter whether you pick soft serve or hard pack, there is something for everyone – just like the cards I made with the fun Ice Cream Swirl stamp set and matching dies.
With fun images, sentiments, and dies you can create fun cards for kids of all ages! This week I featured the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set and matching dies on my weekly YouTube Live tutorial. I did a simple stamping card and then I stepped it up with a very cool slider fun fold card.
Let’s take a look at the stamps, dies, and the cards I created with them .
I just love how easy it is to create with this set! The strawberry card was cased from a tutorial share I participate in. Individual names are not associated with the tutorials so I cannot give credit to the designer who created it but I just love it! As summer and strawberry season are upon us it just seemed like the perfect card to create!
Although it looks difficult, the fun fold card was actually easy to do once I figured out all the measurements (in BOTH imperial and metric). Since I’m usually not one to back down from a challenge (at least in cardmaking) I was excited when I finally got it right! I think the hardest part of this card was writing the tutorial for my workshop!
These were the cards I made during my weekly YouTube Live Tutorial. If you didn’t catch me live, you can always watch the replays on my Crafty Klock YouTube channel. Just click on the “Watch on YouTube” in the lower left to go right to this video. And while you’re there be sure to subsribe! Thanks.
