Welcome to the Sweethearts Global Collective Blog Hop
Welcome to the Sweethearts Global Collective Blog Hop, where creativity knows no bounds and inspiration blooms! We’re thrilled to have you join us on this global journey filled with crafting wonders and artistic marvels. Each stop on this hop promises to be a treasure trove of ideas, techniques, and heartfelt creations.
As we dive into the beauty of spring and the joyful spirit of Easter, I’m excited to share my contribution to this hop—a whimiscal and colorful Easter card designed in the spirit of the season.
For my card, I’ve embraced the subtle yet colorful hues of spring using the Excellent Eggs bundle and the Lighter than Air designer series paper. The colors in the Designer Series Paper are so spring like they just inspire you to create a card that exudes all the promises of the spring season.
One of the most interesting aspects of this card lies in the intricate die-cut eggs. I’ve carefully incorporated the negative pieces of the smaller eggs to fill in the blank spaces on corresponding images, adding interest and color to the design. The result is a colorful brimming with whimsy. Take a look and let me know what you think!
The large egg was die cut using just half of the die – that’s what gives this card the unique egg shape on the end. For the smaller eggs, first I back the cardstock with adhesive sheets, then I used the negative pieces to fill in the corresponding areas on the differnt colored eggs.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for taking the time to stop by and explore my blog post. Your presence and support mean the world to me, and I hope you find inspiration and joy in the creations shared throughout this hop.
As our journey continues, I invite you to hop over to the next post, where more wonderful surprises and creative delights await. Let’s continue to spread love, happiness, and the joy of crafting together.
