Let’s Get Ready for Halloween!

Ok – so one of the absolute best perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is the ability to get new products before they are released to the general public. At the beginning of this month, demonstrators were able to place a pre-order for the new products coming on September 6th!

Well I went just a little crazy and ordered A LOT and I am so excited to share with you some of the new Halloween Products. Normally, Halloween themed items are not my jam – no disrepect to the holiday, but with all the beautiful Christmas items Halloween and fall just seem to get over shadowed. Not this year!

This year I couldn’t wait to order some Glow in the Dark speciality paper to use for Halloween cards and I thought the new Tricks & Treats bundle would be perfect to pair with this cool paper.

All Treats No Tricks

The new Tricks & Treats bundle comes with a photopolymer stamp set with 11 stamps and the matching Tricks & Treats dies wtih 15 dies. The dies will cut out the stamped images as well as ghosts, candy corn, labels, and an adorable treat bag you can make. Check out the dies:

As you can see, you can die cut the stamped images of the haunted house, vampire, and monster. You can also make your own candy corn with the layering dies in the set. The other dies are great for cutting out elements to enhance your cards and projects. I explain all the dies in my YouTube tutorial over on my Crafty Klock YouTube Channel.

As soon as I saw this set, I knew I had to use the haunted house with the Glow in the Dark speciality paper. I paired these items with the Them Bones Designer Series Paper to create some fun cards. Check them out:

  • Halloween Cards House with full moon
  • Halloween Cards - Ghosts in the graveyard

More Info

You can check out the video tutorial here – I just did two cards live – the simple stamping one and the fun fold. I did the ghost cards just for me because I love the Glow in the Dark speciality paper so much!

Both cards use a standard A2 card base but the fun fold card is cut to 4 1/4″ x 11″ while the gravestones card is cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. For the inside of the fun fold card, the Basic White is cut to 4″ x 9 1/4″ with the cardstock scored at 2″, 4″, and 6″.

All of these products will be available for purchase on September 6, 2023. However, if you join Stampin’ Up! now, you can get these items as part of your starter kit. Want to know more about signing up – click here for details.
