Color Refresh Coming
About every five years or so, Stampin’ Up! tweeks its color line up. Sometimes it’s just a refresh, or sometimes it’s full on revamp. This year for its 35th Anniversary, Stampin’ Up! is doing a color refresh. So in addition to the five new in-colors, they are also introducing four new core colors and bringing back seven old favorites.
With the color refresh, some of the core colors are moving from one group to another, with the new and returning colors being added to round out each family group!
Say Goodbye to…
With this refresh, a total of 11 current core colors are retiring. Some of these were favorites and some were hardly used. Among the colors retiring are:
- Bermuda Bay
- Blushing Bride
- Mango Melody
- Merry Merlot
- Mint Macaron
- Pacific Point
- Pear Pizzazz
- Rich Razzleberry
- Sahara Sand
- So Saffron
- Soft Suede
And don’t forget the 2021-2023 In Colors will be retiring – all except for Fresh Freesia which will join the subtles collection of colors. The retiring 2021-2023 In Colors include Evening Evergreen, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, and Soft Succulent.
And Hello to…
A total of 16 new colors – five beautiful new In Colors, four stunning new core colors and seven returning favorites! Among the returning favorites are:
- Berry Burst
- Blueberry Bushel
- Fresh Freesia
- Lemon Lime Twist
- Lost Lagoon
- Misty Moonlight
- Pretty Peacock
Joining these are new core colors Azure Afternoon, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, and Pecan Pie. The five new 2023-2025 In Colors are a beautiful palette of rich earthy tones – Boho Blue, Copper Clay, Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path, and Wild Wheat.
Meet the New Color Family Collections
With the color refresh some of the core colors are moving to different collections:
- Blackberry Bliss moves from the Regals Collection to the Neutrals Collection
- Pumpkin Pie moves from the Regals Collection to the Brights Collection
- Gorgeous Grape moves from the Brights Collection to the Regals Collection
And new and returning colors are joining these color collections:
- Misty Moonlightand Pecan Pie join the Regals Collection
- Lemon Lime Twist, Azure Afternoon, and Berry Burst join the Brights Collection
- Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, Fresh Freesia, and Bubble Bath join the Subtles Collection
- Pretty Peacock and Blueberry Bushel join the Regals Collection
