Are you stuck when it comes to knowing which Stampin’ Up! adhesive to use for your paper crafting projects? With so many choices, it’s hard to know which one is best to use for your project. Stampin’ Up! offers 10 different types of adhesives, all designed to do something different. Let’s look at what each one does.

Tape

STAMPIN’ SEAL is an instant bond, permanent adhesive. Perfect for holding cardstock and ribbon.  Acid free and easy to use. Refillable too!

STAMPIN’ SEAL + is also an instant bond, permanent adhesive. Stampin’ Seal + has a strong seal perfect for holding heavier layers and 3D projects together. Refillable too.

ADHESIVE SHEETS are great to use when you have detailed die cuts.  These 12” x 6” sheets can be cut to size and placed on your card stock before making your die cuts.  Just run your adhesive backed cardstock through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine (full size or mini) to make it easy to apply to your card. Just remove the covering from the adhesive and apply to your project – no fuss and no muss!

TEAR & TAPE is great for boxes and 3D projects. A strong adhesive with tearable paper packings for easy placement.  Ideal for holding boxes and 3D projects together.

Dimensionals

STAMPIN’ DIMENSIONALS give your project depth and dimension and adheres layers together. Stampin’ Up!’s popular Stampin’ Dimensionals come in two sizes (standard and mini) and two colors (black and white).  These are a personal favorite and I use them on almost every project.

FOAM ADHESIVE SHEETS give your project dimension! These double-sided adhesive sheets can be cut with Paper Snips or open dies to fit any project. Ideal for use on cardstock and Designer Series Paper.

FOAM ADHESIVE STRIPS are perfect for creating shaker cards. These adhesive white foam strips are the ideal thickness for your shaker cards. Use with cardstock and window sheets to create a fun shaker element on your projects.

Glue

MULTI-PURPOSE LIQUID GLUE is a crafter’s must have adhesive. Multi-purpose liquid glue securely adheres embellishments, cardstock, Designer Series Paper, and more. It has a strong bond and dries clear. Plus, when you use multi-purpose liquid glue you have a little “wiggle” room to move things around before it sets.

FINE TIP GLUE PEN is perfect for when you need very thin lines of glue. The slender precision tip lays down a fine line of glue which is perfect for adhering delicately detailed die cuts, teeny embellishments and bits of glitter.

MINI GLUE DOTS are embellishments best friend. Instant dots of adhesive, Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots are made to hold heavier embellishments, ribbon, and more. No fumes, no mess, and no drying time!
