The New Magic in this Night Suite is Amazing!

As the dog days of August drag on, my thoughts turn to cooler weather and the approach of Pumpkin Spice season. I love the fall and all the wonderful things it brings (like Pumpkin Spice Lattes) especially what my daughter calls “spooky season”. One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is getting to pre-order holiday products well in advance so I can get a jump start on my holiday preparations.

Usually it’s the Christmas product suites that claim a space in my heart (and in my craft room) but this year the new Magic in this Night Suite was calling my name. Check out all that comes in the suite

Magic in this Night Product Suite #155122 – $88.75

My first time playing with it I paired it with the new Life is Beautiful stamp set (#154871 – $17.00) to create the card below. I used the gorgeous Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper with the new Little Treats Bundle (#155204 – $53) to create this little treat box just perfect for Halloween gifting. I almost overlooked this little gem of a bundle as it was tucked away on one of the last pages of products (pate 70) in the August – December Mini Catalog. I am so glad I give it another look. This Little Treats Bundle is so versatile and can be used to make little gifts for birthdays, weddings, engagements, showers, just about any occasion you can think of. You can order all these products and more at my online store – just click here.

You’ll want to see what’s in the new Mini!

The Stampin’ Up! August – December Mini Catalog went LIVE on Tuesday August 4th. There are so many cute stamp sets and embellishments you can get to create your one of a kind holiday cards. The catalog is so jam packed with new products that I took a few minutes to do a Facebook Live to highlight some of my favorites. Some of these I didn’t even notice my first time through the catalog. It took a few passes for me to focus on some of these hidden gems.

Did you see something you like? I hope so! I know there’s some great new items in there that I plan on getting (if I haven’t already). Just contact your demonstrator to place an order. If you are in the United States and don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’d love to fill that role. You can shop my online store 24/7 just by clicking on this link. Questions? Send an email to me at Happy Stampn!

The Beautiful New Snowflake Splendor Suite is the Best!

If the summer’s heat is getting to you right about now, you’ll love the fun you can have with Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful new Snowflake Splendor Suite. Just playing with the different snowflake stamps and dies will have you dreaming of a white Christmas in a matter of minutes. The suite will be available beginning on August 4th (Item #155115 $94.75) and includes the Snowflake Wishes Bundle (stamps and matching dies), Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper, Winter Snow Embossing Folder, Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper, Blue Adhesive-backed gems, and Snowflake Splendor Ribbon.

I love this suite of products because it has something to offer for all experience levels. A beginning stamper can have success creating beautiful cards with just stamps, ink, and paper especially when you let the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper be the star of the show.

This card was created with just stamps, ink, and paper and went together so easily with these supplies – Pool Party card base 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored at 4.25″; Pacific Point layer 5.25″ x 4″; Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper 5″ x 3.75″; Pacific Point Classic Stampin’ Pad for stamping the sentiment and snowflakes. The gorgeous designer series paper does most of the work for this card. If you’re more advanced and like to try new techniques or add some bling to your card, this suite of products has got you covered!

Heat Embossing and Glimmer Paper add sparkle and shine to this card

This card using heat embossing and the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper to add sparkle and shine to the snowflakes. Using your Stamparatus to position the snowflakes on your card stock allows you to stamp then emboss them all at once. I used the following supplies to make this card: Balmy Blue card base 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored at 4.25″, Night of Navy layer 5.25″ x 4″, stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder, Balmy Blue Glimmer paper 1.5″ x 4″ and punched with the Triple Banner punch; Whisper White 1″ x 3.75″ and punched with the new Banners Pick a Punch; Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Pad; Die Snowflakes using Balmy Blue Glimmer paper.

You can check out my YouTube Video tutorial here. You can purchase the supplies used for these cards on my website beginning August 4th.

You’ll love it when you discover this little secret!

Actually it’s not a secret at all but I do believe it is the absolute best deal in the whole catalog.  The Stampin’ Up! starter kit is a great value at just $99 (plus tax) for $125 in Stampin’ Up! products.  What is even better is that you get to customize your starter kit to get exactly what you want and need.  You will never get stuck with a stamp set or paper that you do not want or like since you get to choose what is included.

Suggested Starter Kit Items

But the benefits do not stop there.  As a Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrator you will always get at least a 20% discount on all your supplies (no coupon needed thank you very much) with the opportunity to increase that to a 25% discount as long as you stay active as a demonstrator.  Who does not like a good discount?  I know I sure do.  And let’s face it, if you are into crafts you are going to spend money on supplies. Why not support your habit while saving some money AND have a chance to make a little money as well.

As long time Stampin’ Up! customer I loved their color coordination (makes it so easy to be successful) and the quality of their products.  When I finally took the plunge and signed up as a demonstrator I wondered what had taken me so long.  In addition to getting my discount on all my supplies, I get to pre-order new items before they are available to the general public.  It’s always fun to be one of the “cool kids” who gets to play with the new toys first!  I can also participate in various incentive programs offered by Stampin’ Up! as well as attend Stampin’ Up! events (darn you COVID-19 for wreaking havoc this year!), qualify for incentive trips, and bonuses.  But the BEST part of being a demonstrator is all the wonderful new friends I have met through our love of papercrafting.

When I first started this journey I wasn’t sure what to expect.  I thought I would just give it a try for a few months and see where it led.  I never in a million years would have thought it would bring me so much joy – it has truly been a blessing.  My Crafty Foxes team is one of the best teams around – we always have so much fun when we get together.  We are more than friends – we’re like a family – always there for each other to celebrate the happy times and offer support in the hard times.

As I continue on this journey I would like to invite you to travel the road with me.  If you like to have fun, craft a bit, laugh a lot, and just enjoy life I’d love to have you join the Crafty Foxes team!  We are always up for answering your questions so drop us an email at and we’ll get back to you.  If your ready to join right now, click here and welcome to the team.

You’ll have fun when you pick a favorite

My August Class To Go give you the power to pick your favorite! Is it the new Banner Year stamp set with images and sentiments to carry you all through the year? Or will the lovely Basket of Blooms speak to your heart with the mix and match images that let you create a variety of beautiful floral designs? It’s your choice! But you must hurry – you’ll need to RSVP by August 1st to join in the fun. You can order your class kit here.

I’m having so much fun working on the designs for this class but it’s a challenge to come up with designs that work equally well for both stamp sets. Check out my first attempt – it’s the same layout but I used different colors for each set. I think it works well for each one but you be the judge. Do you prefer the red and green I used with Banner year;

Banner Year in Real Red and Shaded Spruce

Or are the blue and yellow from Basket of Blooms more to your liking?

Either way I think you’ll agree the basic layout works for each set – now I just need three more designs! Check out my YouTube Video and see how easy it is to make these cards and then sign up for my class to go! It’s going to be fun.
