Sailing into Summer

This week over on my Crafty Klock YouTube Channel I featured the Let’s Set Sail Bundle. I just love the simplicity of the images – makes it so easy to create beautiful cards in just minutes. During my Thursday night Facebook Live (which was actually pre-recorded this week) I showed how to create two cards – a #simplestamping card and a more elaborate fun fold easel card.

If you want to make these at home here are the measurements for each card:

  • Simple Stamping Card:
    • Card Base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
    • Designer Series Paper 4″ x 5 1/4″
    • Basic White 3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Easel Fun Fold Card
    • Card Base 4 1/4″ x 11″
    • Basic White for inside 4″ x 5 1/4″
    • Designer Series Paper 3 3/4″ x 5″ (cut on the diagonal)
    • Sweet Sorbet cardstock 3 3/4″ x 5″ (cut on the diagonal)

Lovely Layers Vellum Adds Soft Elegance

You might have overlooked the Botanical Layers Bundle on page 93 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I know I sure did. It’s not one of those bundles that jumps right out and says look at me with all my pretty accessories. It’s kinda of like a Cinderella item – just a little stamp set with some fancy vellum – understated and overlooked BUT when you do finally “see” it – WOW – it’s a beauty!

The stamp set has a variety of leaf images with simple but heartfelt sentiments and when you pair it with the gorgeous vellum paper you are sure to create beautiful cards and gifts with this dymanic duo.

Created with the Botanical Layers Bundle

Today for my Lesson@Lunch video I used this bundle to create a simple yet elegant card in a monochromatic style. I used Soft Succlent cardstock for my card base (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″; scored at 4 1/4″), stamped several leaf images using a variety of ink (Soft Seafom, Mint Macron, & Soft Succulent) to create a simple yet elegant thank you card. You watch the YouTube tutorial to see how easy it was to put together.

Here are the items I used for today’s card. You can purchase them on my web.
