Lovely You has something for everyone

Whenever I get a new Stampin’ Up! catalog it always takes me several passes until I really notice everything in it. The new Lovely You bundle was one of those hidden gems that I didn’t really focus on the first few times through. When I finally did pay attention to it I knew it was one I had to add to my collection. With sweet sentiments and eye-catching floral images the Lovely You bundle makes creating a breeze.

Playing with the stamp set for the first time last week, I created a #simplestamping card with just stamps, paper, and a selection of inks. To create this card, I used Thick Whisper White card stock (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″) and the Classic Stampin Pads from the Subtles collection – Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, and Highland Heather. The labels were made using the Lovely You Pick a Punch with Petal Pink (1″ x 4″) and Whisper White (3/4″ x 3.5″).

After creating a simple stamping card, I wanted to step it up a bit so my next card added lots of layers, a few die cuts, some Rhinestone Jewels, and I used the markering technique to color and stamp my floral image. To create this card I used a base of Cherry Cobbler card stock (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″), then I added a layer of Whisper White card stock (5.25″ x 4″) and a layer of Plaid Tiding Designer Series Paper (5″ x 3.75″). A 1″ x 5″ strip of Mossy Meadow added a pop of color to the card front. I used the two largest squares from the Stitched Shapes Dies to create my diamond layers in Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. I colored my image with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin Write Markers and stamped it on the Whisper White die cute. Again the Lovely Label Pick a Punch was used on a 3/4″ of Whisper White to create the label. Check you my full YouTube tutorial here. Click here to order all the products used for these projects.
